Barton H. Bolt – President BHB Ventures, LLC
Barton (Bart) Bolt leads BHB Ventures as the President. Prior to founding BHB Ventures as the President Bart lead the Altum Senior Living management and field operation teams. His passion for working with seniors originated after working in senior living communities as a high school student. These experiences lead Bart to Calvin College to further his education and to become long-term care operator. He has in-depth knowledge of the operations in senior housing industry. Bart has served seniors for over 25 years in the roles of Nursing Home Administrator, Executive Director, Area Manager, Regional Director of Operations and Divisional VP of Operations. Bart has won several awards for his work in the industry. In 2008, Bart was acknowledged by Argentum with the “Champion” award for his leadership during the CA wildfires. His passion for excellence in care and service is driven by over 25 years of working in the senior living industry. He has a proven track record of building a culture of teamwork and innovation among his co-workers. As the President of BHB Ventures his goal each day is to support and lead a team that strives for excellence. Mr. Bolt has more than 25 years of industry experience and a proven track record of building a culture of teamwork and innovation. The hiring comes at an exciting time for Altum Senior Living.
Eric Antman – Operations Consultant
After 11 years of competing successfully as a Junior Exhibitor, culminating with World Championship titles in both Equitation and Pleasure divisions and the People’s Choice Junior Exhibitor of the Year award, Eric became a Professional Equestrian at 17. A San Diego Native, Eric graduated from The Bishop’s School in La Jolla, CA and attended William Woods University in Fulton, MO, where he received a BS in Equestrian Studies with a minor in Accounting. He served on the ‘President’s Twenty’, a group of 20 hand-picked university students who served as liaisons between the University President’s Office and the student body. In 2008, Eric returned to California and opened Majestic Farms LLC with his fiancé, Austin. Since opening, Majestic Farms has earned more than 50 National and World Titles and negotiated millions of dollars’ worth of horse sales. In 2012, Eric became the Operations Manager of Deer Springs Equestrian LLC. He has worked to grow the boarding business from 42 to 115 and has maintained almost 0 vacancy since January of 2013. During that time, the boarding business and feed store have demonstrated consistent year over year growth, built a tremendous reputation within the community, and now serve as the hub for the equestrian community in the area.
Austin Eversman – General Manager
Austin is a high-school cross-country star, spending her childhood and adolescence in Connecticut and Wisconsin. During her Junior Exhibitor equestrian career, she rode with two Hall-of-Fame Instructors and garnered wins at almost every major competition throughout the United States. Upon graduating high school with honors, Austin went straight to work in the equine training and pet-food retail industries. After gaining a year of real-life experience, she enrolled at William Woods University in Fulton, MO, where she received a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, and a minor in Equestrian Studies. Throughout her years in Missouri, Austin worked at Callaway Hills Stable and the Jefferson City News Tribune. In the nearly 100-year history of Callaway Hills, Austin was the first woman to present sale horses to clients and to serve in an official Trainer capacity.
In 2012, Austin became the Feed Store and Facilities Manager for Deer Springs Equestrian LLC. She envisioned the feed store, literally from the ground up, and created the platform upon which Deer Springs Feed and Supply operates to this day. From the physical layout of the store to the product lines and vendor accounts, Austin has guided Deer Springs Feed to consistent growth. Her extensive product knowledge, hands-on experience, and ability to educate and build relationships with clients has earned her the respect and trust of clients ranging from high-school Future Farmers of America students, to elite Olympic-Level trainers. Austin is an active member of the Twin Oaks Valley Equestrian Association, the United States Equestrian Federation, United Professional Horseman’s Association, American Saddlebred Horse Association, American Morgan Horse Association, and Arabian Horse Association.
Cierra Holtz – Assistant General Manager
Cierra, a native San Diegan, worked around Morgans and American Saddlebreds from the early age of 8. Cierra went to school in San Diego and during that time has always remained active in the industry. Cierra has a great background that will serve her well in this role. Cierra has managed a riding academy and taught lessons and continues to teach lessons at Deer Springs. Since 2015 Cierra has worked for Majestic Farms and participates in their training program of Morgans and American Saddlebred show horses. Cierra began working at Deer Springs in early 2021 and has been a critical part of the team since that time.
